Emily and Ben // Santa Cruz Engagement Session

The thing about engagement sessions is that I never go into one with an agenda or head full of poses and ideas. Besides where we’ll be and maybe (but very rarely) some outfit questions, the rest of the session is go with the flow as it happens.

Emily and Ben showed up with their hearts open and I simply documented how they were. In that small window of time my camera saw how Emily often lovingly puts her hand on Ben’s face and how they make each other laugh.
