It’s your wedding day,
not my photoshoot.
I’m a firm believer that weddings don’t exist only to be photographed. You picked a place that spoke to the both of you and carefully crafted an experience for your guests because this is not just about the two of you, but also the people from all parts of your lives who have shown up to support you in this milestone event.
After the food is eaten, the flowers are gone, and your attire is put away, what you have left is the wonderful photographic evidence of what happened and what it felt like.
Your images will be an honest, unstaged, and uncoerced reflection of how your people came together to celebrate a momentous day.
My hope is that years from now, you’ll be able to recognize yourselves as you truly were, among your community of family and friends, with photographs that prove how much you are loved.
And then when we’re gone, those looking at your wedding photographs will feel like they know the people in them and how the day moved and felt.
MORE THAN A DECADE OF STORIES
A collection of favorite moments I’ve witnessed, from 2012 to today.
“Looking through the photos for the first time since the wedding, I actually cried because I was privy to some moments that were so special that we missed on the day. Thank you for helping us relive the specialness of the day but also to have access to moments and feelings we completely missed.” — Nadia & Joe
“You were the best and easiest decision we made in the planning process” - Z & J
“An incredible and kind documentary photographer” - K & C
“Annie has a kind and calming presence and a true gift for capturing the human experience in an image.” - H & A
“We loved her style coming into the process but I can’t even tell you how incredible and different it is to see her photos when they are you; reflecting something so personal to you. I am tearing up just thinking about how much I love our wedding photos.” - R & W
LOVE & CELEBRATIONS
For the ones in the future looking at your photographs.
If what matters most is maximizing time with your guests, letting the moments unfold organically, and being present over having things perfect — I’d love to hear from you.
