Serra reached out to me about photographing her wedding just 9 days before the wedding. “I know this is short notice,” she said. She and Pietro had an engagement party planned at Dandelion Chocolate Factory, where family was going to be coming in from all over. So 48 hours before their ceremony at St. Ignatius, they popped the news to their guests - Hey! We’re going to be married right before the engagement party! Afterwards they would go back to their house for pizza and wine.
